As the Community Council, our role is to provide a voice for local people in the Torridon and Kinlochewe area. We exist to help express the views of communities to the Highland Council, other public sector bodies and private agencies on matters of local interest.

 

We receive modest funding from the Highland Council to pay expenses, and can apply for grants to help finance initiatives that support the community.

We believe in working closely with other local organisations such as the TDCA, NTS, Community Car Scheme and neighbouring Community Councils. We have a role to play on planning applications and are invited to participate in local forums.

 

We are keen to involve as many people in the community as possible. So please be in contact to tell us what you would like us to do, and please do participate and come to our meetings.
