Thanks to everyone who nominated people for an award, over the next 3 weeks we will announce the winners. The first awards were presented this week. Many people wanted to say thanks for the Torridon Tesco delivery drivers - Mo, Carol, Zoe & Debs. Their service with a smile throughout two lockdowns has been much appreciated. As key workers they have had to keep working throughout the pandemic - often covering extra shifts due to sickness/colleagues self isolating. There truly is no substitute for our Tesco girls :-).
If anyone in Kinlochewe is lucky enough to get home deliveries and wants to nominate their driver please get in touch
Another popular choice has been our Gairloch based refuse collection team. AKA The Bin Men: Iain and Michael .
More key workers whom we have relied on over the last year; often also clearing up extra rubbish left by tourists in the brief 2020 tourist season. Thanks to them for their hard work.
